Learning Management System — Mobile Application
Welcome to DolphinCoder ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our DolphinCoder mobile application (the "App"). Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not use the App.
1 Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you register and use the App:

2 How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and authentication sessions
- Deliver course content — notes, videos, quizzes, and flashcards
- Track and display your quiz scores, attempt history, and flashcard mastery
- Allow you to update your profile name, bio, and photo
- Respond to your support requests
- Improve app performance and fix bugs
3 Data Storage & Security
Your account data is stored on our secure backend server. Passwords are stored as bcrypt-hashed values — we never store plain-text passwords. Your authentication token is stored locally on your device using Android's encrypted secure storage and is never transmitted to any third party.
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Hashed passwords (bcrypt)
- JWT-based authentication with server-side validation
- Encrypted local token storage on device
4 Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services that may process data:

5 Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at the email below and we will delete such information.
6 Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: View all profile data from the Profile screen in the App
- Edit: Update your name and bio via Profile → Edit Profile
- Change Password: Via Profile → Change Password
- Delete Account: Contact us at the email below to request full deletion of your account and all associated data
- Logout: Clears your local session token immediately via Profile → Logout
7 Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days. Quiz attempt history and flashcard progress are retained as part of your account and are deleted along with your account.
8 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
